Motti Needs a Capo
Jig in A
This was written after the first year of COVID and was inspired by a text conversation with a friend. It was originally titled “After a Year Inside” but after playing it in a few sessions it earned the nickname Motti Needs a Capo after the accompanists’ attempt to slip into the key of A.
While it is in A, there are no g# or g-natural notes for the benefit of my friends playing flutes and whistles.
